The Preparation for Principalship Course for Aspiring Principals at The Chinese University of Hong Kong has been illuminating, informative and inspiring. I am honoured to have learned from remarkable leaders, each with their distinctive charisma and leadership approach. Dr. Chan's innovative school-based finance education program, connected to Hong Kong's landscape and national economic development, stood out to me. Principal Lee's school-based Portal expanded my perspective on systematically supporting students' holistic growth, while Dr. Yim's touching anecdotes about navigating various school challenges for students, parents and school development were equally important. I also value the course structure, which runs from March to June on weekdays, freeing up weekends for work-life balance. The manageable assignments that consolidate the lecture content are a tool in building my principal portfolio. This course has been a transformative journey guiding my transition from a manager to a leader. My sincere gratitude goes to the programme coordinator, Prof. Pang, the inspiring principals and the committed administrative team for all their tireless support.
